Automotive Pressure Sensor Family Extended to MAP Applications

We have launched a new KP2xx pressure sensor family. Extending the existing pressure ranges, KP2xx supports manifold air pressure applications in addition to barometric air pressure applications.

The KP2xx automotive pressure sensor family consists of miniaturized absolute pressure sensor ICs based on the capacitive principle. The devices are surface-micromachined with a monolithic integrated fully digital signal conditioning circuit, implemented in state-of-the-art 0.5 micron BiCMOS technology with analog output signal, broken wire detection, optional clamping and other useful features. The pressure range extends up to 400kPa with an accuracy of up to 1kPa or higher. This family comes in a PG-DSOF-8-16 package with integrated lid.

KP21x: MAP (manifold air pressure)

Samples of KP2xx automotive pressure sensors are available. The family has received automotive qualification and the products have been released for mass production. A sample kit (SP000753082) and promotional material are available.
