The highly integrated BGM 781N11 is the world´s smallest GPS front-end module at a size of 2.5 x 2.5 x 0.7 mm³, which is more than 60% smaller than the closest competitor product offering a similar level of integration. It includes all key components in a module to amplify a GPS signal and filter out interference – the pre-filter, LNA and post-filter with high ESD robustness all in one package. The application circuit of BGM 781N11 has only 2 external components. The module has 8 kV ESD contact discharge integrated at the RF input pin, allowing customers to easily achieve their system ESD requirements (usually 8 kV) without additional ESD protection devices.
