Infineon's family of proven PROFET™ devices such as BTS723GW and BTS840S2 were designed for a variety of automotive & industrial applications. They are ideal for switching all types of resistive, inductive and capacitive loads.
 
These devices excel at dissipating high-energy pulses during inductive load turn-off and are perfect for high-voltage applications (V_BAT up to 58V) as well as for high-speed PWM applications (up to 1kHz). A further flagship feature of PROFET™ devices is their ability to switch higher inductances smoothly.

Protection against short circuits, overvoltage and overload are further key features of the PROFET™ concept.

Diagnostic features offer the choice of either status or current sense options to screen load statuses and detect potential failure modes.
