High Power
MIPAQ™ base - Current Sensing in Power Modules: 1200 V/ 75 – 150A IGBT-Sixpack with shunts for industrial- and servo-drives with up to 55 kW
MIPAQ™ base circuit diagram
MIPAQ™ base unites the latest IGBT technology with internal sensors for accurate current sensing in the well-established EconoPACK™ 3 package.
Connected to the output lines, these shunts enable compact and accurate current measurement. The mounting position inside the module improves the thermal situation for the shunts. Hot spots are moved from the PCB to the heat sink, thus achieving excellent cooling without increasing the space necessary for setup.
High-quality materials ensure exact measurement across the entire temperature range and pave the way for excellent power cycling capabilities. Other highlights of this technology include the absence of offset and hysteresis voltage as well as insensitivity to overcurrent and peak current conditions.
- Sixpack in EconoPACK™ 3 package with 17mm height
- Shunt values matched to rated chip current
- Temperature-stable sensors
- Absence of physical effects such as hysteresis and offset
- Temperature sensor (NTC) inside
- Operational at junction temperature of 150°C
