MIPAQ™ sense - Digital Current Measurement in Power Electronic Modules
MIPAQ™ sense functional diagram
The latest MIPAQ™ sense modules feature an IGBT six pack, three highly sophisticated current sense shunts and a fully digital current measurement with galvanically isolated output signals based on the Sigma Delta measurement methodology.
The module does not require optocouplers thanks to Infineon's coreless transformer (CLT) technology, which saves additional board space. The measurement methodology integrated in the MIPAQ™ sense provides accurate data for regulation purposes and information on current situations. MIPAQ™ sense modules manage currents of 75A and 100A. They are available in EconoPACK™ 3 housing and feature PressFIT interconnection technology for fast, reliable, solderless mounting.
