TLE 6251-2G: New HS CAN Transceiver with System Wake-Up and Failure Detection
Typical application circuit with TLE 6251DS
The TLE 6251-2G high-speed Control Area Network (CAN) transceiver is a key element in designs that require wake-up functionality. It controls the power-up and/or power-down modes of complete electronic control units by monitoring CAN bus traffic and checking the mode signals set by the microprocessor.
As a successor to TLE 6251G, TLE 6251-2G not only provides different operation modes with a very low quiescent current in sleep mode, it also delivers improved electromagnetic compatibility and electrostatic discharge characteristics.
TLE 6251-2G is integrated in an RoHS-compliant PG-DSO-14 package and fulfills or exceeds the requirements of ISO11898-5.
