TLE 727x-2 Ultra-Low Quiescent Current Linear Voltage Regulator Family

Infineon has now released the new updated green versions of the TLE 7270/2/4/6 ultra-low quiescent current linear voltage regulator family with the addition of new exposed pad packages. Infineon has also launched a new TLE 7273/8/9 family featuring enhanced logic features.

All products feature extremely low quiescent current. This is as low as 15 µA depending on the product. Output currents scale up to 300 mA.
The TLE 7270/2/4/6-2 high-current series offers a fixed 5 V output voltage along with reset and/or enable features. These devices come in TO263, TO252 and the new SSOP14 exposed pad packages.

The TLE 7273/8/9-2 feature set expands the feature set of the high-current products (TLE 7270/2/4/6-2), offering in addition early warning and/or standard watchdog or window watchdog features and output currents up to 180 mA. Three output voltage variants (2.6/3.3/5 V) are available, in DSO14 and SSOP14 exposed pad packages. 

These products are particularly suited for low current consumption systems always connected to the battery and to applications requiring overall system efficiency. The TLE 7273-2 is also ideal for safety-relevant applications.

In addition, cost-conscious designers will be interested in these devices as the exposed pad package reduces systems costs by optimizing thermal design.
