TLF 4277 – supply IC for active antenna systems with advanced diagnostic and monitoring functionality
TLF 4277 block diagram
The TLF 4277 is the ideal companion IC to supply active antennas in car infotainment applications. Its adjustable output voltage makes it ideal for FM/AM, DAB, XM as well as SIRIUS tuner systems.
The integrated current monitor and the protection monitor functionality ease the implementation of system analysis in the infotainment system. The device is protected against failure situations, such as short-circuit of the output against GND or battery voltage, overtemperature and overcurrent.
These conditions and the current in normal operation are indicated at the multifunctional CSO output pin.
The TLF 4277 is a monolithic integrated low dropout voltage regulator for loads up to 200 mA. The variable output voltage ranges from 5 V to 12 V for input voltages up to 40 V.
