TLF50281: New 500mA Buck Converter with Low Current Consumption and High Switching Frequency
Application diagram
The new TLF50281 is a 500mA buck converter with an output voltage of 5V (±2%) and a low quiescent current of 45µA. Thanks to a nominal switching frequency of 2.2MHz, small external components can be used, which in turn saves on PCB space. Integrated compensation and soft-start functions further reduce the number of external components. TLF50281 provides ENABLE and RESET capabilities with adjustable thresholds and a standard WATCHDOG. TLF50281 comes in a thermally enhanced, RoHS-compliant, SSOP-14 exposed pad package.
