Trilith IC and NovalithIC™ product families go GREEN

Infineon has rolled out its GREEN and ROBUST solutions for the motor control product families Trilith IC and NovalithIC™. The Trilith ICs are multi-purpose, configurable full bridges integrated into a DSO 28 package. The NovalithIC™s are multi-purpose half-bridges integrated into a D²PAK (TO263) package. These product families target all electrical motor drives with continuous load currents from 1 A up to around 40 A and peak currents up to 70 A.
We took advantage of the conversion to green to also rename these product families:
' - BTM xxxx Trilith IC H-Bridge Motor Driver RoHS-conformant
' - BTN xxxx NovalithIC™ Half-Bridge Motor Driver RoHS-conformant
- Integration of the power stage, driver and protection in a small package
- Integrated protection against overtemperature, overcurrent, overvoltage and undervoltage
- Status flag diagnostics with analog current sensing (NovalithIC™)
- Pulse-width modulation (PWM) capability up to 25 kHz (NovalithIC™) combined with active freewheeling
