XC2000 Family Enhanced to Include Integrated Instruction Cache (iCache)
XC2000 with Integrated iCache
Infineon has broadened its XC2000 family to include devices with integrated instruction cache. Placing iCache between the embedded flash and the CPU speeds up code execution by 30%. Increasing frequency from 100MHz to 128MHz boosts performance by up to 50%.
The new family members are available in 100 and 144 pin QFP packages.
It comes with up to 1MB embedded flash and optional FlexRay plus a raft of further features that make it the perfect choice for a range of different automotive applications.
